The one on the right is me

I have ‘veganized’ a caramel spread very popular in South America called Dulce de Leche ( which translates as `sweet milk’). I come from Argentina where the above mentioned spread is "big" and synonymous of my childhood. 95% of our desserts and patisserie are made with it. Breakfast and `merienda’ (afternoon tea) meant thick slices of crusty, freshly made bread with the spread ! Dulce de leche made everything `sweeter’...
After a while into my vegan journey, I though: "surely there must be a vegan dulce de leche by now"! So I tried to buy it, but to my surprise, there was none available in the UK. Hence... I made my own!
One day, somebody who tried it said: "this is the most delicious spread I have ever had, you should sell it and I will buy it!" This resonated with me as I always wanted to have my own business, and in that moment I had the vision how my Vegan Dulce de Leche would fit in with the growing demand for delicious vegan products. So... at my age (then) I thought: “it’s now or never”. And It was!

Vegan Crazy

We've got a few products with Awards by The Guild Of Fine Food, The Great Taste, years 2020, 2021 and 2022 (However, please note that some of these products are now discontinued or I have rather improved their formulation) This year, My Vegan Dulce de Leche has been shortlisted Finalist in The British Great Food Awards, I am thrilled! Last year I also pitched against 23 other local entrepraneurs in a 'Dragon's Den' style presentation for a £5000 grant by the Reigate & Banstead Council ( a business development grant) which I secured. Also last year I was lucky enough to be accepted by the London South Bank University Programme, LAFIC, as they found my product unique and innovative . They helped with the development of my 'original' Dulce de Leche and gave me the motivation and support to develop my next three products, an improved formulation for my original Dulce de Leche, a Sea Salty Dulce de Leche and a Dulce de Leche with Cacao. I am proud to say that My Sea Salty Dulce de Leche was awarded this year 1Star by the Guild of Fine Food, the Great Taste. this
